Bringing life back to Cairo's Historic Core

Standing for our Irreplaceable Heritage

We think that we can play a role in bridging the gaps between governmental bodies, professionals, students and community members in order to understand the complex processes and patterns of transformation that Cairo faces. This collaboration is the key to sustainable interventions addressing the preservation of our heritage and revitalizing the former glory of Cairo.

CHS aims to participate in developing the culture of urban research and design that enables us to anticipate future urban scenarios and act accordingly through inter-disciplinary cooperation to reach practical solutions, which can reverse the status-quo and create the vibrant cityscapes that we all envision.
